This entirely fearless little mate sat in the middle of one of the platforms of Munich main station when I wanted to take my train to Erlangen. He didn’t move a bit no matter how close other passengers approached. He would even let me touch him but didn’t take any effort to climb on my finger so that I could move him to a less dangerous place. I was so afraid that somebody might step upon him that I stayed there using my feet and my luggage as ramparts until my train left. Really hope that he’s still fine.

Day at the Seaside
I’m really tired of winter coming back and back again everytime when I think that finally springtime will begin.
It is so depressing. So, what can I do against that? Maybe posting a pack of shots I took last summer during a trip to the touristic town of Cuxhaven in Northern Germany.
You can’t go wrong with a day at the beach, providing that the weather is right. Alright, share some sunny summer feelings with me pushing the winter’s grey away.

Travelling #3: Sweden
Took a trip to Nyköping in the province of Södermanlands län late last summer. Time was short and Sweden is big so we only had daytrips to explore the beautiful cities of Stockholm and Uppsala, Gripsholms slott (the castle of Gripsholm), the Göta channel and many other destinations.

Travelling #2: France
Some old shots taken during a holiday in France in 2007. This time the Minox 35 ML was the camera of choice. Unfortunately, back in Germany, I had to find out that it sported some light leaking. I guess that’s what 30 year old cameras that where found on eBay for very little money sometimes do.

Travelling #1: The north of Spain
Parts of a series I shot during various visits to the city of Gijon at the Atlantic seaside of Spain over the years. Equipment was kept as small as possible to different fixed lens compact cameras starting with a Rollei 35 from the mid-sixties, a Minox 35 ML from the seventies, the Nikon L35AF AW beach/underwater camera from the eighties and best of all the Konica Hexar AF from the nineties. All of these are of superb quality. Ok, the Minox is not so very much as I found out, but therefore it is very compact and lightweighted.

Architecturals #1: BMW-Welt Munich
Spend some time at the BMW-Welt in the north of Munich to take some emotional pictures of the impressive architecture there. Worth a visit every time again. There is a museum showing lots of wonderful classic BMWs as well. Don’t miss it when you’re in Munich.
